What the app does

The app lets a merchant configure a Saudi-only Short Address format check. Guard + City Rules also provides independent rules that keep each existing shipping option visible only for its configured Saudi cities. The merchant controls each rule’s settings and activation.

Important limitations

The Short Address feature checks syntax only: four English letters followed by four digits. It does not confirm that a code exists, belongs to the buyer, matches an official National Address record, or is accepted by SPL or a carrier.

City matching uses the spellings saved in each rule. The city picker includes a reviewed set of Arabic and English spellings, and merchants can add other confirmed spellings. Each rule matches an existing Shopify shipping option by its exact title; a renamed or duplicated title can affect that match. The app does not set delivery prices, carrier coverage, or delivery promises, and does not guarantee delivery.

Merchant responsibilities

The merchant is responsible for reviewing settings before activation, testing each rule immediately after activation and before relying on it, keeping an alternative delivery option where appropriate, monitoring checkout after changes, providing accurate customer messages, and complying with applicable commerce, consumer, privacy, delivery, and accessibility requirements.

Plans and subscriptions

Short Address costs $4.99 USD per month per store and includes Short Address format checks, Arabic and English checkout messages, the setup guide, and email support. Guard + City Rules costs $14.99 USD per month per store and includes those features plus city selection and independent rules for existing shipping options.

Paid subscriptions are billed through Shopify on a recurring 30-day cycle. New stores receive a 14-day free trial, with billing starting after the trial. Merchants review and approve the plan, trial, and charges in Shopify before a paid subscription begins.

Stores with the app installed when paid plans launch keep full access to Short Address checks and city rules without a subscription charge. These stores are not automatically moved to a paid subscription.

Pausing a rule does not cancel a paid subscription. Uninstalling the app stops future Shopify billing cycles, but a charge already generated before uninstalling may still appear on a later bill. Contact us with any questions about app charges.

Custom Partnership

Custom development or implementation is discussed through a separate quote defining the work, price, and support arrangements before work begins. Standard plans do not include unagreed custom development. An inquiry or discussion does not commit the merchant to a purchase.

Service changes and termination

We may improve, limit, suspend, or discontinue the service to maintain security, reliability, or compliance. Merchants may stop using the app by pausing Short Address protection and every active city delivery rule, then uninstalling it from Shopify.

Warranty and liability

The app is provided on an as-available basis. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Waseem.Space disclaims implied warranties and is not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms excludes a right or liability that applicable law does not permit us to exclude.
